Contact & Control is a practical, performance-based workshop focused on how we manage pressure, proximity, and physical contact with stability and composure.
When contact occurs, balance shifts, tension rises, and decision-making degrades. This workshop addresses those moments — teaching how structure, breath, and relaxation allow you to remain effective without relying on strength, speed, or aggression.
This is not a fighting seminar.
There are no techniques to memorise and no style to adopt.
Instead, the focus is on how you manage yourself under contact — because that determines how well any technique, role, or response works.
What You’ll Work On

Maintaining stability and structure under physical contact

Reducing unnecessary tension during pressure and resistance

Using breath to stay calm, balanced, and adaptive

Managing balance and off-balancing with minimal force

Staying composed and effective in close-range situations
Training includes partner work, controlled contact, balance disruption, and movement-based drills, scaled to the group and individual experience.
